Youth Counsellor

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 18.5 to 37 hours per week, please state the hours you would like to be considered for on your application form

Location: Various: Norwich, Attleborough, North Walsham, Great Yarmouth or Kings Lynn

Salary: Starting salary £27,435 per annum pro rata with incremental progression based on performance to £29,499 per annum pro rata

The role of Youth Counsellor plays a part in our mission to support young people in Norfolk by providing 1:1 counselling sessions for young people. You will carry out assessments of young people’s mental health using appropriate tools and refer or signpost young people to alternative support where necessary.

Applicants must have a recognised qualification in counselling, and be accredited, or eligible for accreditation, by the BACP, UKCP, or an equivalent body. Some experience of working with young people is essential.
