Stacey Douglas

Stacey Douglas graduated with an MSc in Psychotherapeutic Counselling from Staffordshire University in 2012, she relocated to begin her work as a senior therapist and team leader at the Priory Hospital Southampton. Working with adults, her role involved assessing clinical needs, designing and delivering the group therapy program, providing one-to-one therapy, and supporting peer clinical practice. She now divides her work between private practice and a continued role at the Priory Wellbeing Centre Southampton.
Using a polyvagal framework, she draws from an array of tools and techniques to support clients in making sustained improvements to their mental health and well-being. Particular areas of interest include; neurodiversity/ADHD, trauma, anxiety, C-PTSD, and attachment. In addition to client work, she is also passionate about supporting clinicians in integrating a polyvagal lens into their practice.
