Sheila Pope

Sheila Pope qualified in 2003. She took four further years’ training in Transactional Analysis and started her ecotherapy journey with Hayley Marshall and the late Martin Jordan in 2014. She is a counsellor in private practice based in Burgess Hill, volunteered for four and a half years in a hostel for the homeless and worked for two and a half in a centre offering support for people with learning disabilities. Sheila is a singer/guitarist/songwriter, was a drummer in a rock band for 11 years, enjoys rifle shooting and rides a motorcycle. She is currently the Chair of the Sussex Counselling and Psychotherapy association. SCAP offers its members a wide-ranging CPD programme, a termly magazine and an online directory. Members are based throughout the county and the group has been in existence for 35yrs.
