Kath Caffrey


Kath Caffrey has a degree in Modern Languages and a background in education, working as a secondary school teacher in Bristol and Southport for eight years. She qualified as a counsellor in 2011 and as a supervisor in 2015. After qualification she worked as a counsellor at a high school in Cheshire and at the University of Liverpool, and now focuses on her private practice in Southport, where she sees clients, mostly adolescents, and supervises other counsellors. She is a freelance trainer for Charlie Waller and privately developed some training workshops around ethical practice with children and young people, working with risk, mindfulness, anxiety and self-compassion. She has recently presented BACP webinars around working ethically with risk.
