Liane Wood, RP, is a registered psychotherapist and the CEO of Build Your Private Practice, where she helps mental health professionals create thriving, values-aligned practices that grow sustainably.

Before entering the mental health field, Liane spent over 25 years in the insurance industry, including 11 years as CEO of a brokerage she founded. Throughout her career, she also held ownership in two additional brokerages and gained deep expertise in leadership, strategic growth and operational systems – experience she now brings to helping therapists build sustainable private practices.

Now, through her signature programs – Launch Your Practice, Accelerate Your Practice, and Scale Your Practice – Build Your Private Practice has supported hundreds of clinicians in building caseloads, increasing income, and expanding their impact. Liane blends practical strategy with a deep understanding of therapist energy, capacity, and real-world experience.

Known for her clear teaching style, implementation-focused tools, and commitment to supporting therapists, Liane brings a rare mix of business acumen and clinical insight to everything she teaches.
