Description

This training is designed for clinicians and practitioners who want to bring somatic awareness into their work in a clear, practical, and effective way. Somatic approaches can sometimes feel abstract or complex, but this presentation breaks them down into simple, accessible concepts, making it easier to understand and apply. By gaining a deeper understanding of how the body holds and processes experiences, therapists will feel more confident in guiding clients safely through their healing journey.

The training explores why people become disconnected from their bodies – whether due to trauma, stress, or the demands of modern life – and why restoring that connection is so important for emotional wellbeing. It provides straightforward tools and strategies to help clients access their body’s wisdom, regulate their nervous system, and build resilience. Through a principles-based approach, practitioners will learn how to ask meaningful questions, listen deeply, and create a supportive environment where clients feel safe to explore their experiences. This knowledge not only enhances therapeutic confidence but also fosters a greater sense of trust and empowerment for clients as they reconnect with themselves.
