Online Training for Counsellors

Our training is designed for qualified counsellors and psychotherapists who are planning to add online counselling to their practice. The training is conducted entirely online so it doesn’t matter where you live. If you have a reliable computer and internet connection, you can join one of our online student groups and learn via email and attend live discussion meetings via our campus website. Our Certificate and Diploma Courses are validated by CPCAB, the Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awards Body.

Gloucestershire Counselling Services

GCS provides Counselling Services to Adults, Couples, Children and their Families, Schools and Workplaces. We accept referrals directly from clients, as well as through third-party organisations which have contracted us e.g., schools, GP practices, employers and statutory bodies. The Clinical Service Manager (CSM) role is a senior position within the organisation, providing clinical management and involving day-to-day operational management of the Counselling Services department. The Clinical Service Management is provided by a team, each holding pre-defined responsibility for areas of the range of services and then sharing oversight of broader responsibilities.

Association for Group and Individual Psychotherapy

The Association for Group and Individual Psychotherapy was founded in 1974 as a Professional Association of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapists. Its training section, apptraining, successfully relaunched its training in 2015. AGIP offers a UKCP training, CPD events, film events and lectures.

The Bowlby Centre

The Bowlby Centre provides a UKCP accredited training in Attachment Based Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, which combines psychoanalytic, inter-subjective, and attachment based approaches, within an environment in which difference is both celebrated and analysed in relation to the wider social and political milieu.

Institute of Group Analysis

Institute of Group Analysis

The Institute of Group Analysis (IGA) was established 40 years ago by Dr SH Foulkes and a group of colleagues to provide clinical training in group psychotherapy. Since then group analysis has developed a strong presence in many regions of the UK, making the Institute of Group Analysis a truly national organisation. The IGA is a National Institute dedicated to providing high quality training in the field of group psychotherapy in numerous national locations.
