You will work collaboratively with the senior management of the college in the promotion of students’ mental health and wellbeing. You will be responsible for the booking of therapy sessions for your caseload and assist in the organisation and daily function of the service.
Applicants must be qualified and experienced in counselling young people and be BACP Accredited or registered with another recognised professional body. Counsellors about to apply for accreditation or going through the accreditation process will also be considered. It is desirable that the applicant has knowledge of the performing arts.
This is a part-time role (three days a week - 39 weeks term time only). The students are timetabled between 8.30am-7pm Monday to Friday and your working hours will fit within this timeframe. There is flexibility here and working schedule will be discussed at interview.
