IAPT Clinical Lead

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced clinician to join our team as a Clinical Lead. You will be remote working, but must be able to travel to Kent & Medway as required.

As a key member of the Kent and Medway leadership team, you will work closely with your colleagues to ensure we deliver the best service possible to our clients.  Drawing on your strong clinical skills, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership to the team, working in partnership with the Service Manager, Clinical Leads, Team Leads, practitioners and other colleagues to maintain a safe and effective service.  You will also take the lead for ensuring the maintenance, dissemination and development of the highest professional standards of clinical practice, in accordance with national guidelines; including the implementation and management of a supervisory regime that meets statutory and regulatory compliance.

You will be fully supported in your role by Insight’s Principal Clinical Lead and benefit from close working relationships with our Clinical Leads embedded in other services, giving you the opportunity to continuingly develop your clinical skills and expertise.

You must be a qualified and accredited High Intensity CBT Therapist or Counsellor, and an experienced clinician who is able to provide expertise and specialist advice, guidance and consultation to all clinical staff and other professionals. You need a strong track record of working with clinical colleagues to ensure they have the skills, expertise and confidence to diagnose, formulate and implement plans for all psychological interventions, in accordance with evidence-based practice and the requirements of IAPT. You must be a qualified supervisor who can demonstrate their ability to offer sound clinical supervision to clinical staff within the service.

We are proud to be recognised and certified as a Great Place to Work, which speaks volumes on how much we value our colleagues. In return for the hard work and dedication from our teams, we offer a range of fantastic benefits, including: 30 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays (rising to 32 days at 5 years’ service), option to buy and sell annual leave, enhanced pension, "Refer a Friend" payment, Cycle to Work scheme,  enhanced car schemes, Vitality Wellbeing Programme (including Employee Assistant Programme, GP & priority Physiotherapy access and shopping discounts), fully funded flu vaccines, technology salary sacrifice scheme (for home appliances, tablets, mobiles, TV’s, fitness trackers and more), family friendly policies (including Enhanced Maternity, Paternity and Adoption pay), volunteer programme, enhanced life assurance scheme, and a supportive culture that values work-life balance (including agile working and the option to apply for flexible working from day one, career breaks, and up to a week’s special leave a year to help you manage unexpected life events).
