As an Associate School Project Manager, you will work with the School Project Manager/Mental Health Manager to make use of and shape the universal and targeted interventions to support individuals and groups within the school community in accordance with the Clinical Delivery Model.
About The Role
Hours: 14hrs p/w
Days: Wednesday and Thursday
Location: Swanscombe, DA10 0BZ
You will also undertake one to one clinical work with children and/or young people and provide Place2Be services such as Place2Talk as agreed with the School Project Manager, Mental Health Manager and the school leadership team.
You'll ensure high quality clinical practice and delivery of a full and effective service in Place2Be schools, by undertaking clinical assessments and formulations of children and young people who are referred into the service and participating in supervision with the SPM/MHM and discuss and report any concerns or issues arising from the clinical work.
What will I be responsible for in my new role?
assess and Formulation of children and young people who are referred into the service.
carry out one-to-one clinical work with children and young people
Identify and report any safeguarding and child protection concerns following Place2Be’s policies and procedures
undertake training in order to be able to deliver Place2Be’s interventions as part of the clinical delivery model.
Identify and report any safeguarding concerns with regards to vulnerable adults following Place2Be’s policies and procedures
assist with group work or whole class work.
build and maintain excellent working relationships with the Head teacher, school staff, parents and carers, and the Counsellors on Placement team

The successful candidate will have:
a membership of a recognised and relevant professional body (e.g.BACP / UKCP/NCS/BPS)
familiarity with and willingness to work within the BACP Ethical Framework
previous experience of working with Children and Young people
demonstrate understanding of working with children and young people who require or would benefit from emotional and therapeutic support and experience of the school environment
models behaviours aligned to Place2Be and BACP framework
experience in being pro-active in reporting safeguarding issues and concerns in accordance with Place2Be policies on safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults
a clear understanding of the needs of service users and stakeholders and how Place2Be services can support these needs and resolves problems as they arise
