You will experience simple, success oriented sociodramatic exercises, along with the utilization of breath, intention and attitude to cultivate mindfulness for challenging emotions. Also discover user friendly therapeutic movement, imagery, mindful doodling, mandalas and aluminum foil sculpture.
Through case examples, experiential activities and dialogue, you will identify a rich menu of mindfulness-based artmaking tools and techniques designed to enhance moment to moment awareness and emotional regulation for inside and outside your practice.
You will be amazed at the transformation with your clients, and no background in art therapy is required as you will be shown tools to use within your scope of practice.
