Founded over 50 years ago, WPF Therapy is a charity where our focus is on providing high quality therapy and training the therapists of the future.
Operating as a social enterprise, our clinics provide a range of talking therapies including short term, long term, group and individual, as well as placements for our Trainees. We are proud of our reputation for high quality affordable therapy and, whilst we see hundreds of clients each week, our main source of referrals is still personal recommendation by friends or family. This year in response to COVID-19 we moved all of our work online as we brought forward our strategic planning to develop our services to become more accessible. We now intend to build our dynamic working model, moving flexibly between our purpose-built training and clinic rooms a few minutes from London Bridge station and a permanent virtual base.
Our ambitious plans need credible and experienced clinical leadership within our Executive Team, and we are now looking for an exceptional Director of Clinical Practice to join us to take responsibility for professional oversight for our supervisors and therapists. Working alongside fellow Directors you will provide meta supervision through our lead clinical supervisors and Safeguarding leadership across the organisation. You will be a focused and result driven leader, with a proven track record of achievement at a senior level. Holding the safeguarding lead for the organisation you will advocate for practice development and quality improvement rooted in experience of developing performance and quality systems and processes within the psychotherapy field, ensuring that the best interests of our clients at the heart of everything we do.
