£22,893 per annum (pro-rata)
£16,482 per annum (actual)

An opportunity has arisen to join the Crawley YMCA DLG team, offering emotional health and wellbeing support for Children and Young People aged 11-25. This role will be based in the newly established Crawley YAC (Youth Advice Centre) located at Crawley Foyer; the workload of the role will be split equally between supporting residents in the Foyer and the wider Crawley community.

The post holder will support children and young people through a broad range of evidence-based interventions, implementing a solution-focused model. The post holder will offer preventative work, crisis support and assistance with transitions & onward referrals, linking young people in to a broad range of services and interventions in Crawley.

Applicants must be experienced in working with children and young people and have an excellent knowledge of children and young people’s services in Crawley. Applicants should have training in a wide range of emotional wellbeing interventions or a post-graduate level in counselling or equivalent qualifications.
